Search for Robbery Suspect

Police have not yet identified who robbed a Speedway gas station in Frankfort Sunday morning. But they hope surveillance pictures will help find him.

It helps police when suspects stand right in front of the camera for a while and even make a phone call. Police say that's what happened during this Speedway robbery.

Police say the pictures were so clear that police identified a tattoo on his right forearm and on his left bicep.

The suspects pictures have been passed around to Frankfort officers, but his face is not familiar.

Police say the suspect stood in front of the cameras waiting for the coast to clear and that's when he made his move. That's when police say he "brandished a switch blade knife and demanded cash."
