A Central Kentucky marine who was killed last week in a horrible accident was laid to rest Saturday.
Lance Corporal James Bullen drowned after getting caught in a rip tide off a North Carolina beach.

Friends and family gathered at a Richmond funeral home to remember him.
Bullen's brother, Timothy Brown, says the 22 year old will be missed by many.

"My brother was well loved and known by many. He was always the life of everywhere he went. He always kept people in good humor."

Bullen had served two tours in Iraq. He was stationed at Camp Lejuene, North Carolina and had been scheduled to come home in August.
