Later today, the Fayette County school board is scheduled to vote on whether students will start school at different times next school year.
Right now, there are four different start times with thirty minutes between each. The proposal would have three start times with forty minutes between them.
School leaders say the change is needed because of the growing shortage of school bus drivers.
The school board meets tonight at six.
