Creation Museum Set To Open

It's down to the finishing touches for a controversial museum set to open in northern Kentucky on Memorial Day.

The Creation Museum presents a view of world history that disputes a lot of things you'd see at the Smithsonian or any other natural history museum.

Displays at the museum contend that the earth is just a few thousand years old and that dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time.

The museum was built by a group called "Answers In Genesis."

It cost 27 million dollars and every penny of it was donated.

Founders expect the controversial nature of the displays to attract a quarter million visitors a year.

Geologist Greg Neyman disputes the museum's claims on a website called "Answers In Creation." Protesters are expected on opening day.

The Creation Museum is located in Boone County, near the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport.
