NORTH VIRGIE, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say an Eastern Kentucky man was killed on Saturday after being struck while trying to cross a highway.

Crit Case of Dorton, Ky., was attempting to cross the northbound
travel lanes of U.S. 23 in the Virgie community of Pike County when
he was hit by a car driven by Ricky Branham.
