City Commissioner Says Karaoke Ban Blown Out Of Proportion

Print

A city commission meeting just wrapped up Tuesday night in Danville.

On the agenda, commissioners meet to talk about proposed changes to the city's alcohol policy. That included banning karaoke, dancing, and shooting pool in businesses that serve alcohol.

But surprisingly the city commissioner said tonight they never intended to ban karaoke. The commissioner also said the issue was completely blown out of proportion.

There was no voting on the issue to ban karaoke during the meeting. For now the issue has been tabled, which means it will be decided on a later date.
