County Asks People To Cut Back Water Usage

A central Kentucky community asks people to conserve, worried about the water supply.

The Garrard County Water Association says recent dry weather has created the need to cut back.

It's asking people in Garrard County to not water the yard, wash the car or fill up the pool.

If enough people don't cut back, the county may make the restrictions mandatory. The water company says the request to cut back will be in place until they get some substantial rain.
