In Laurel County on Tuesday, a man accused of killing a 16-month-old boy made a court appearance.
The case against Clarence David Mullens was waived on to the grand jury.
Investigators say Mullens was babysitting his girlfriend's baby, Bradden Collopy, when he hurt the boy. The coroner says the child died from blunt force trauma.
Also in court Tuesday, a judge refused to set bond for Mullens.
