Fort Campbell Fire

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - A fire at a soldier's home at Kentucky's Fort Campbell has claimed the lives of two of his young children

The soldier's wife was seriously injured in the fire early today. She was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Nashville, where she's listed in stable condition.

The father is a soldier with the 101st Airborne Division. He's being treated at a hospital on the base for non-life-threatening injuries.

The dead children were a two-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy. Another child, 14 months old, wasn't hurt.

There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
