Community Center Named for Fallen Firefighter Vandalized

Video will be available shortly

Police say the vandals struck sometime over the weekend, at the Brenda Cowan Center on Devonport Drive.
Officials say an urn was ripped off its foundation and broken. Most of the flowers in a garden were ripped up and destroyed. In all, officials say the vandals caused more than $2,000 in damages.
So far, no arrests have been made.
The center was dedicated a little over a year ago.
It was named for Lt. Brenda Cowan, who was shot and killed in Fayette County in 2004, while responding to a domestic violence call.
