Couple Injured In Attack Spent Life Helping Others

The couple involved in a violent home invasion in Scott County spent much of their lives helping others.

Ralph and Mattie Michaels worked for many years as Majors at the Salvation Army in Lexington.

People there say they touched many lives and they don't understand why something like this had to happen.

Under the Michaels' leadership, the new Salvation Army building was put into place.
