Teen remains in critical condition after hitting tree

A teenager remains in critical condition Sunday night, several days after a crash that killed one of her friends.

16-year-old Kimberly Jager, has been at UK Hospital since early Tuesday morning.

Lexington Police say she lost control of her car on North Cleveland Road and hit a tree.

A passenger, 18-year-old William Jacobs, was killed.

Police say Jager only had a learner's permit and should not have been driving without an adult or licensed family member.
