A thief took target early Monday, hitting two central Kentucky gas stations.
The Airport Food Mart on Versailles Road in Lexington and the Shell station in Versailles were both broken into.
At the food mart, the owners say a man used a cinder block to bust through the front door.
He then went looking for cash, hitting the cash register and a cash box for the Kentucky Lottery.
Both were empty, but he took off with the lottery box.
It appears the same crook hit the Shell station just down the road in Versailles, near the Blue Grass Parkway.
There, he also used a cinger block to break in the front door. He got away with cash.
