Man Mugged in Park
A Central Kentucky man is recovering after being mugged in a popular park.
Police said the 62 year-old man was walking at Lake Mingo Park in Nicholasville; around four Sunday morning when he was jumped by three men. The attackers stole the man's cell phone and car keys; then fled on foot. The victim was taken to the hospital with contusions to his head and trauma to his ears.
Police said they want to question the three males captured in a Nicholasville Wal-Mart surveillance photos. The pictures were taken just before the men were kicked out of the the Wal-Mart.
Investigators said they closely match the description the victim gave of his attackers.
