Luxury Cars Stolen From Driveways

An upscale Lexington neighborhood is on guard after nearly a dozen cars were stolen from outside the owner's homes. It happened early Saturday morning in the Glen Eagles subdivision off of Polo Club Blvd. Nearly every house on an entire block had their cars broken into, some were even stolen.

The thieves seemed to have expensive taste, stealing SUV's, BMW's and Lexus'. Most of the cars taken were later found heavily damaged and abandoned near Henry Clay Blvd.

Witnesses say they saw one stolen car being driven by three white teenagers, who looked barely old enough to drive.

Lexington police are investigating whether the string of car thefts this weekend are all connected.
