Interstate Back Open After Tanker Crash

Print

Eastbound I-64 at the 98 mile marker in Clark County reopened just before 11 a.m. Monday.

It was closed for hours after a tanker truck overturned late Sunday night.

Police say the truck ran into the back of a car, hauling a trailer.
People who witnessed the accident tell 27 NEWSFIRST the trailer had no lights.

Traffic was being routed onto U.S. 60 while the interstate was closed.

Officials say only a small amount of gasoline spilled from the tanker truck, and that's all been cleaned up.

There were no serious injuries in the crash.
