Severe storms continue to work across southeastern Ky. Additional strong storms are working into the Lexington metro.
A new traffic signal at a busy central Kentucky intersection looks a little different than what drivers are used to.
The signal, at Highway 60 and Hanly Lane in Frankfort, includes a flashing yellow arrow.
When on, it means drivers can turn left, after yielding to oncoming traffic.
The change is designed to make left turns safer.
The new signal is among the first of its kind in Kentucky. Five more Frankfort intersections will get similar signals soon.
