Strong storms are moving into the Lexington metro. Watch for small hail, high winds and torrential rains.
A Christmas light display at a Lexington Fire Station is getting bigger this year.
Thanks to a $3,000 donation from an LED lighting company, the display at Fire Station #20 on Harrodsburg Road now has more than 30,000 lights.
Lexington firefighters also donated about $15,000 dollars for the display.
The display has been operating since Thanksgiving night. Firefighters started putting up the display around Halloween. The display is timed to music on 91.1 FM as well.
The firefighters at Station #20 have been putting up the display for the past five years.
Firefighters ask that anyone who comes to see the display bring a donation or toy for the Firefighter's toy program.
