A homeowner tells police he was stabbed by an intruder in his Scott County home early Thursday.
Georgetown Police were first called to the home on Mallory Lane when a burglar alarm went off.
Officers didn't find anything.
The alarm then went off again one hour later.
That is when the homeowner says he came downstairs and found a burglar.
He says the intruder then stabbed him in the stomach.
The man has since been released from the hospital.
The suspect remains on the loose.
He's described as a black man, in his 30s, last seen wearing a hoodie and dark jeans.
He may also be armed with a knife.
