It only took a few minutes for police to catch a woman they say was behind a jewelry heist at a central Kentucky store.
Connie R. Garcia walked into Kohl's in Richmond and told a jewelry clerk she would "blow her away" if she did not give her four thousand dollars worth of jewelry. The clerks complied and Garcia allegedly headed out the door to her getaway vehicle, but she didn't get away.
Sergeant Willard Reardon with the Richmond Police department says before the suspect could get away police responded to the parking lot of Kohl's. Witnesses pointed the suspect out to the authorities and she was arrested immediately.
Authorities were able to recover all of the merchandise that was reportedly taken from the Kohl's.
