The city of Lexington is seeking information about distracted drivers.
The Herald Leader reports the city wants to know if things like cell phone use by drivers are leading to more accidents.
Lexington couldn't enact a ban on using a phone while driving even if wanted to because the state legislature blocked that possibility in 2003.
