The Mountain Parkway was shut down late Thursday afternoon in Wolfe County, after a deadly crash.
It happened near mile marker 41.
The coroner has been called to the scene, but the number of cars involved is not known.
Traffic is being rerouted to Highway 15.
There's no word on the number of deaths or injuries.
