Print

A Lexington man is killed when he crashed his SUV in Wolfe County. The crash shut down the Mountain Parkway for more than an hour.
Coroner Frank Porter says Richard Collins, 24, lost control of his Chevy Colorado and went into the center median. He over corrected and the SUV flipped several times before coming to rest against the guardrail. Collins was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner says Collins is survived by his wife.
