Thieves hit cars in Lexington neighborhood
Lexington Police officers spent early Thursday morning combing a neighborhood to look for the people behind a crime spree.
Multiple police officers and canine units went to a neighborhood off Millpond Road, near Boston Road, where at least 13 cars were hit. Some of the vehicles hit were also on Spring Run Road.
Police say the thieves didn't break anything to get inside the cars.
Investigators believe multiple suspects are behind the thefts.
At least one of the victims reported a missing handgun.
