Former Britton Chevrolet employees face more charges

More charges have been filed against four employees of a now closed, car dealership in Richmond.

Former employees of Britton Chevrolet, general manager Darian Jones, Danny Sweet, Don Wilson and dealership president Clifford Chambers, face theft charges in connection with sales the dealership made before closing.

The Richmond Register Reports the employees are accused of failing to forward usage taxes the dealership collected to the Madison County Clerk's Office.

Previous theft charges come from the alleged failure of the dealership to pay off liens against vehicles that were traded-in.
