Video will be available shortly

Lexington police say it happened around 4:00 Friday afternoon when a man walked into the Traditional Bank on North Upper St.

Police say the man handed a note to a bank clerk and demanded cash.
Three interns from the Common Wealth's Attorney's office spotted the man and realized he robbed a bank.

That's when police say they ran after him.

The interns chased the suspect 4 blocks up to Market and Mechanics St. Then we're told that's when the suspect dropped the money and three interns, including a passerby, tackled him at Fourth and Cambell Street.

At that time police caught up with the men and arrest the bank suspect.

Police say the suspect is Jeffrey Lyndale Ford of Lexington. He's been charged with robbery.
