A convicted sex offender facing murder charges in Kentucky has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Huntington in 1998.
The Herald-Dispatch of Huntington reports today that 27-year-old
Robert Lee Drown of Kenova, West Virginia, is charged with first-degree sexual assault and nighttime burglary.
Huntington police Detective Chris Sperry told the newspaper that
Kentucky authorities provided information about the 1998 incident.
The information was developed during their investigation of the deaths of 31-year-old Jennifer Ison of Hitchins, Kentucky, and her daughters: ten-year-old Shannah Ison and three-year-old Marissa Ison.
Drown is charged in Kentucky with three counts of murder, first-degree arson, first-degree rape and first-degree burglary.
