A suspect police say was involved in a Georgetown bank robbery is behind bars in another town.
Police took 43-year old Michael Roe into custody last night. He's in the Bourbon County Jail. Paris Police have charged him with criminal possession of a forged instrument.
In Georgetown, police say Roe is the robber who hit the Integra Bank in the Wal-Mart shopping center around 3:30pm on Monday. Police say the man handed a teller a note implying he had a bomb.
The teller gave the man the money he demanded. Witnesses say he then calmly walked out of the bank and got into a red car parked nearby.
Police suspect a second person was probably involved.
Surveillance pictures released by police show the man robbing the bank.
Georgetown Police have charged Roe with first-degree robbery in connection to the crime.
