Grinch steals Christmas tree and decorations from Lexington home

It was several feet tall and decked out in lights.

But somehow, a thief, or thieves, managed to steal a Christmas tree, along with some other decorations, from a Lexington home.

The 5 UK students who live at the home on University Avenue say they put a lot of work into decorating it for Christmas.

The thieves stole Christmas lights from the front porch, then went inside.

The thieves left with the $200 Christmas tree, which was more than 6 and a half feet tall and covered in lights and decorations.

The students at the house say this isn't the first theft to occur there. They've had decorations and even chairs stolen from the porch in the past.
