Video will be available shortly

We have new information in a Jessamine County crash that involved a sheriff's deputy's cruiser.

The cruiser and Cadillac hit head-on just after three Tuesday morning. The police report says the Cadillac crossed the center line.

Police say the driver, 26-year-old Leonard Strauss, smelled of alcohol and refused sobriety tests.

The police report also cites the deputy's speed. He was reportedly going 70 mph in a 35 mph speed zone on his way to non-emergency call.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.
