Record Setting Budget Approved At UK

The Board of Trustees at the University of Kentucky have approved a record-setting budget for the next school year.

The budget of more than 2 billion dollars includes more than 35 million dollars targeted at keeping students at UK.

The budget represents a 180 million dollar increase over last year.

Students will be footing part of the bill for the record budget. Next year, in-state tuition will go up by nine percent.
