Soldier Dies In Accident At Ft. Campbell

Fort Campbell officials say a soldier from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade has died after suffering injuries during an accident in a motor pool on post.

Twenty-two-year-old Specialist Crystal Bolling of Powder Springs, Georgia, was an ammunition specialist assigned to First Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment. She died Monday in surgery at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital.

Military officials would not discuss specifics of the accident,
citing an ongoing an investigation.

Bolling entered the Army in September 2004 and arrived at Fort Campbell in March 2005. Her awards and decorations include the Global War on Terror Service Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
