Brush Fire In Central KY Town

Berea firefighters battled a large brush fire near I-75. It broke out Tuesday night on Ridgewood Drive.

The Department of Forestry was also called to help.

Firefighters say they bulldozed around the fire, and cut a line around the fire so it wouldn't spread.

No structures were threatened.
The nearest structure is about two hundred feet from the fire.

Firefighters expect the brush fire to burn itself out sometime Wednesday.
