Teacher Accused of Removing Student's Garter

A Kentucky English teacher has quit amid controversy about his behavior at a school prom.

The Courier Journal reports online about the incident at Louisville Western High School's prom.

Teacher and coach Brett Coogle allegedly removed a female student's garter with his teeth at the school event.

The principal had removed Coogle from teaching after seeing pictures of the garter incident.

Coogle has stepped down.
