Lexington Police are looking for a man who robbed the La Quinta Inn on Stanton Way in October. They say he was armed with a gun and stole money, and they're hoping you know whose responsible for this crime.

"He was wearing a ski mask and all black clothing. He's a white male, about 5'11", and 230 pounds", says Detective William Persley.

Police say the man went into the La Quinta Inn carrying a gun.

"Walked behind the front desk and when he noticed no one was there, looked around and saw the cashier was sitting in the breakfast area. Motioned for her to come over and when she did he told her to open the cash register and give him all the money", says Detective Persley.

The suspect got away with some cash and they're hoping you know the person who committed the crime.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020 or dial *2020 on your AT&T wireless phone. It's a free call and you don't have to give your name, just your information.
