Police say a man foiled a robbery attempt on his property, now seven people face charges.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office says the victim spotted four men loading up some of his equipment. Deputies say the victim confronted the men with a gun, but it was wrestled away. Three of the men ran off, but deputies say a fourth, Kenneth Hooker, got into a fight with the victim.
Three other people were charged for helping the suspects run from the scene. Investigators say they are looking to see if the same group is behind other thefts at this property. WKYT is told an eighth arrest is likely.
