Thursday night, people in a Kentucky community will remember four young people who lost their lives in a house fire one year ago.
Three boys: Timmy, Wayne, and Brandon Elam, along with their 17-year-old cousin, Shirley Rothwell, died in the fire last Christmas eve in Mt. Sterling.
Earlier this week, the mother of the boys talked to 27 NEWSFIRST for the first time since the tragedy.
"I have nothing to celebrate. My boys are gone. They're not here with me and it's hard to celebrate when my boys passed away that day," said Sandra Elam.
The vigil is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Easy Walker Park in Mt. Sterling.
