Woman Attacked While Unloading Car

Video will be available shortly

A Lexington woman says she was attacked in her own home.
It happened on Cromwell Way in the Man O'War, Nicholasville Road area.

A woman told police she came home Thursday and was unloading her car in the garage, when she heard a noise. Within seconds, she says a man attacked her.

She says he continued to hit her in the face while she was screaming and fighting back. He eventually took off, without taking anything.

A friend of the woman says she believes the man was going to sexually assault her.

Police are working to put out a composite sketch of the suspect.
