$128.6 million dollar Powerball ticket sold in Georgetown

Kentucky Lottery officials have learned a single winning Powerball ticket worth $128.6 million has been sold in Georgetown.

The winning numbers are:

32 – 36 – 37 – 41 – 53 Powerball 30

“We can’t wait to greet our first Powerball jackpot winner in two years,” said Chip Polston, Vice President of Communications, Government and Public Relations for the Kentucky Lottery. The last Powerball winner in the Bluegrass State was in December 12 2007, when a Bullitt County man claimed a $33.6 million jackpot.

The largest jackpot won prior to this drawing in Kentucky was $89.3 million awarded in January 1996.

Polston says players should check their tickets immediately, sign the back of it if they have the winner, and contact the KLC’s customer service department Monday morning at (502) 560-1500.

As for the location of the retailer where the winning ticket was sold, this information will be available Monday morning. “Several security steps that must be taken prior to announcing the retailer where this ticket was sold,” Polston said.
