We now know the identity of a woman killed in a violent Central Kentucky crash.
42 year old Laura Hosey Thomas lost control of her car on Cummings-Ferry Road in Woodford County, over-corrected and crashed through two plank fences.
She died at the scene.
Police say it's not clear what caused the crash, but in speaking with friends of the victim it's clear she was loved in this community.
Carole Zeis says Thomas was her "soul sister," saying the two instantly bonded over a love of organic gardening.
Zeis says Thomas was also an artist, even having her work on display at a local gallery.
Most of all Zeis says Thomas will be remembered as simply a wonderful person.
