Family struggling after son killed in crash

A Lexington family who lost their son in car crash say they can't afford a proper burial.

The crash happened on Russell Cave Rd. just days before Christmas.

Police say 18-year-old Kevin Sipple was headed to work when he lost control of a Dodge Ram Pickup he was driving.

The truck hit a tree and burst into flames.

Sipple had been working at a horse farm to help support his family because his father is on dialysis.

Now, his family is struggling with the funeral costs.

Sipple says they are in need of about $1,000 to get their son cremated.

If you'd like to help, donations can be made out to Care Cremations in Lexington.
