Some in Bluegrass Under Boil Water Advisory

A boil water advisory is in effect for some customers in the Harrison County Water Association.

If you live on the following roads, You need to boil your water until further notice.

Harrison County:

U-S 62 West between Switzer Pike and Leesburg, Allen Pike and Sicas Pike

Bourbon County:

Russell Cave Rd, Grimes-Batterton Rd, Clay-Kiser Rd, Brentsville Rd, Townsend Valley Rd, Cynthiana Rd, McNees Rd and West Peacock Rd.

The Harrison County Water Association had a large water main break early this morning, affecting many people. Residents along Brentsville Rd in Northern Bourbon County tell 27 Newsfirst they had no warning and after numerous attempts to contact someone at the water company, no one would answer their calls.

Water was restored around 6 PM Sunday. But water pressure in some areas is still low.
