Worker Hit By Van On I-75

A Madison County man is lucky to be alive after being hit on the interstate. The accident happened at the 95 mile marker on I-75 in Madison County.

26-year-old Brandon Macintosh is the maintenance supervisor in Madison County. After receiving a call about debris in the roadway, he tried to pull over on the side of the road and remove it.

An oncoming van, traveling south, tried to miss the debris but hit Macintosh.

Macintosh was taken to the UK hospital with a broken leg. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say it was an accident and the driver of the van does not face any charges.
