A woman who says she was held against her will and sexually assaulted helped lead police to her alleged attacker early Tuesday.

People at a motel near Richmond Road in Lexington called police after finding the woman in the hallway, screaming for help.

The woman told investigators Bryan Brown had held her against her will in the hotel room for two days. During that time, she says she was attacked and sexually assaulted.

She was able to give police the suspect's name and car description.

Early Tuesday, police arrested Bryan D. Brown, 29, at his home on Grace Drive, off Armstrong Mill in Lexington.

He is charged with first-degree rape, unlawful imprisonment and possession of cocaine.

Police haven't released the victim's condition.
