Woman Sentenced To 15 years For Son's Drowning

MONTICELLO, Ky. (AP) - A southern Kentucky woman has been sentenced in Wayne Circuit Court to 15 years in connection with the death of her eight-year-old son.

Circuit Judge Vernon Miniard sentenced Wynema Worley, of Bronston, Kentucky, near the Tennessee border, to ten years on a manslaughter charge and five years on a wanton endangerment charge.

The terms are to be served consecutively without early release. Worley drove her car into Lake Cumberland last summer drowning her son Dylan Rambo.

Police said Worley wasn't legally drunk at the time, but had multiple drugs in her system.
