Police Release Sketch Of Man Who Attacked Woman In Her Garage

More Video...

Lexington police release a sketch of a man they say attacked a woman in her own home.

The victim told police she was unloading her car in her garage on Cromwell Way when she heard a noise behind her just after midnight last Wednesday.

That's when someone ran into the garage and started attacking the woman.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30's, about 5'10" and weighing 200 pounds. The victim says he had dark hair and dark eyes...

Police say the victim fought back against her attacker, even though he was repeatedly hitting her in the face. The man eventually ran away.

We spoke to a friend of the victim last week who says she believes the man was going to sexually assault the victim if she hadn't fought back.

If you have information on the suspect, call Crimestoppers at (859)-253-2020. You may get a reward for your information.
