Video will be available shortly

A disturbing wake up call Tuesday morning for a Lexington couple.

Police say the couple, living on Squires Road, woke up to a strange man in their bedroom at around 3:00, Tuesday morning.

Police tell us shots were fired inside the home, but no one was shot

The man and woman jumped out of a second story window to escape from the gunman. The woman hurt her ankle and her husband was also taken to the hospital to be treated for trauma.

They have both been released from the hospital.

When the suspect is caught, he'll face burglary and wanton endangerment charges.
