ATV Crash Kills Central Kentucky Man

Police say a man trying to get out of the rain is to blame for deadly ATV accident in Bourbon County.

Around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, a man riding an all terrain vehicle slammed into an SUV on a farm on Hutchinson Station Road.

The Bourbon County Sheriff says the ATV rider was trying get to a barn during a downpour. The man was going about 40 miles per hour with his head down and by the time he looked up it was too late.

Police say the ATV rider was thrown about 15 feet.

His name has not been released, but we're told the man worked on the farm.
