Suspects Caught On Tape

Video will be available shortly

A thief leaves behind quite a mess for workers at a Lexington gas station. Police say someone broke out the glass door at the Marathon Station on Alexandria Drive in order to get inside. The crime was all caught on tape.

Around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning, three suspects broke out the glass door of the Marathon Station, taking with them two cases of beer and several assorted drinks.

However, police say this was not their first stop, as they believe this burglary is connected to car vandalism that took place just a few blocks away. Car windows and windshields were smashed overnight in the Gardenside Place parking lot, located next to the Movie Gallery.

Police say that the three suspects responsible for the Marathon Gas Station burglary were also responsible for broken windows at the YWCA. One suspect was found hiding in the maintenance shed behind the pool.

That suspect, Kevin Lee Arnold, has been charged with criminal trespassing and possession of burglary tools. While it is believed he was also a part of the Marathon Station robbery, he has not been charged at this time.
