Possible Serial Robber Holds Up Frankfort Bank

Print

Police in the capital city say a serial bank robber may have struck again Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened just after 11 at the Republic Bank on Frankfort's west side.

Police say the man walked into the band, demanded money and then left on foot. Police used dogs to try to track the man, but lost the scent in some near-by woods.

Investigators are looking into the possibility that the man is responsible for robberies at two other area banks in recent weeks.

He's described as a white man in his thirties, 5'10", 180 pounds, with dark hair and a mustache, wearing a tan shirt and hat. If you have any information about the man, contact Frankfort police.
